lol to the man in the street andrew barber is just another man but to me he is one of the greatest people of my lifetime, even tho he practically blew my car speakers cos we kept listening to daydream nation 2 loud and still owes me a tennis court painting for my birthday lol. for aabout a week in 2006 me and andrew were best friends lol and i treasure that week like it was my child, there isnt a day that goes by where my mind doesnt find itself just casually sliding into the past threatening never to return because the questyion that haunts me most post-bestfriendofandrew is where from here lol? when you have had the best why settle for the rest, as the saying goes? during that week me and andrew would drive around at night listening to daydream nation like it was the summer of 88 and tomorow was never promised, we didnt need to speak because the music spoke for us, it spoke about dreams and theories and hopes and equations, & it spoke loudly and clearly. we wud always end up at crowbar lol with andrew trying to get ladies to take my virginity lol it never happened, not there anyway but thats not the point becos U dont need sex when u have andrew barber on your team lol. i liek to think of andrew sometimes as the human of flatwhites, he is loyal and clean and that is why him and flat white r both my heroes by in very different ways and the fonz also in more different ways. 1 day i textd andrew barber saying i wanted 2 die but not meening it lol and he called me up and told me to get over here like scorpion lol and i drove over to his moms house in remuera and he showed me across the rod where worldfamous artist shriwarna babysits and then i ate some left over chicken but i was still hungry! so andrew gav me a $20 and told me to run across the rd and get 2 club sandwiches pronto lol sso i did, then we ate them and then we went on the computer and i taught him all about myspace, which was the beginning of andrew barber: the myspace years till christine crabbs deleted his profile, then he taught me about booty bass and i turned on the TV and we watched this movie about a black laywer on sky lol but andrew fell asleep i liek it how me and andrew both used to live in remura eeven tho i still do, it gave us a special remuera connection that i explained to him 1 day and he just nodded in agreement. when i am around andrew barber, death doesnt feel real.

hello lol this is flat white aka the greatest dog in the world, he is a master of disguise incase u cannot tell he is liek a chameleon, no matter where u put him he will become 1 with his surroundings lol in this instance as u can see he has been put in the sock drawer and seems so at home lol just like jesus intended im sure but thats not all flat white can be found in places as varied as the e.g. for example : washing machine; rubbish bin, rorys pants, lol just about anywhere u can think of! byut i dont love flat white just because of his talents lol that wud make for a shallow and inconsekenqtial relationship, he is also my best friend and activity partner lol the other day me and rory were boxing in the backyard and flat white tried to join in ! lol thinking he is human! the nerve sometimes of that dog lol! but rory started punching him and i said stop rory or he will get parkinsons like muhammed ali lol! shakey dog that cud be funny 2 like 2 much coffee dog …

brief remarks on the greater sincerity of pop -

God seems to be using said Internet to drive home that our crutches of authenticity have been knocked away, but instead of embracing the new real, we ceaselessly attempt to recreate the real of the past. Dragonforce, an even more cartoonish metal act than Dethklok, stages a Guitar Hero tournament on their tour bus, and that’s a far better mirror of reality than their concerts. But we cling to the NWOBHM cosplay still, auditioning for a supergroup on national TV with consultants dictating our appearance and convention dictating that we loudly insist how much we want this patently worthless prize, because we are the most dedicated to real rock. Yeah, we saw what happened to the realest person, Zayra, a Puerto Rican girl who proudly donned the most outlandish outfits those consultants could find and sung “pop (ugh)” songs with more honest passion than anyone else could manage. Zayra was seen as ridiculous, but rock is not ridiculous. Rock serious! Rock real! And so Zayra lost the battle of rock. In a genre with no future, who wants to be a loser, too?
